Course Duration

  • 1 Day re-certification available


The qualification does not have an expiry date however Refresher training may be required as per industry standards or employer requirements.

This unit of competence will be assessed. The assessment will be based on the principles of CBT (competency-based training). A successful outcome for this certificate will be determined by a range of different methods including written submission of work, observation of simulated and practical activities, structured questioning or discussions.

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this training course, participants will be enabled to Identify legislation, regulations and safety requirements, Identify scope of task and work activities, Manage hazards, Identify safety systems and equipment, Safely access work area, Conduct work at heights safely, Monitor safety equipment and risk treatments.  Apply emergency procedures, Finalise operations, Clear work area and store tools and equipment.

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:
